Beauty like a flower Though fluorescent in the light Crawls away in darkness From insecurity and fright Forgiving and forgetting An angel shining above Beauty like a flower Is love Beauty like a siren Draws the sailors in Pulls them deep underwater And covers them with sin Beautiful yet tragic A melancholy fate Beauty like a siren Is hate
