Beauty Found

Refreshing drops of spring’s delight Lapidate winter’s frosty grip Each slowly thawed nourishing drip A gentle caress in the night Revealing hope in warming rays Inviting sounds of fertile days As new beginnings come to sight. From winter’s dreary ways of gloom The visions of beauty return From deep within their long sojourn To welcome spring and gently groom The path to summer’s warming sun That feeds the life that spring begun With beauty found within a bloom.
