Beauty Beyond The Sunrise
Beauty Beyond The Sunrise
My muse was reading her favorite book
When spotting her on a grassy nook,
She is one with Mother Nature.
A hooting owl scared me to death
She started laughing under her breath,
As I stumbled from the shadows.
I heard welcome to my paradise
Then hands me a cup of lemon ice,
We waited patiently for the moon.
The sky played checkers with delight
She twinkled with the stars so bright,
There was red on the horizon.
The harvest moon was on the rise
I swear the sun was in disguise,
I was one with Mother Nature.
