Beauty and the Evil Ones

Notes: some of Hitler's paintings came on auction today, and it made me think how people can be so artistic and lovely in expression and music, and then so evil in actions. ( Wagner was also a Nazi) These actual painting might indeed be frauds as well, so this ties to Trump in more ways than one, and his supporters.

I find it astounding, I know many lack any artistic or poetic abilities, yet express such flowerily words of beauty, just like many of the Nazi's, it goes to show beware of those filled of such hate that lurks within.

Beauty and the Evil Ones A poet weaves such wondrous words flowing of milk and honey of enchanting places soothing moments filled with love invoked memories Majestic symphonies of wonder cadenza's weaving the imagination Wagner, a musical genius sayeth so softly painting beauty in musical tones Overtures of compassion permeate away such artistic brilliance buries the mind of those whose insides are maliciously dark pure evil pervades their bone The painter of valleys rivers and mountains in pastels simple yet provocative in their tranquility Hitler of the rose gardens evil through and through

gosh this is a side to Hitler that I never knew. I doubt he would have been famous for his artwork but he certainly gained notoriety:-(thanks foe your accompanying poets notes too:-) hugs Jan xx

I'm no art critic, but I see now why he had to change his career path. The only redeeming value in these pics is in a historical perspective. Great write Arthur...

People have many facets hidden inside of them, Some good some bad, we are made up of many things and many emotions. Choice is crucial here, and Hitler, he was a legend for evil, there is one in every era. Thanks for the enlightening poem, Arthur. I didn't know Hitler did paintings. Or did he ?

art, i was going to write about hitler's passion for painting but he failed to enter a fine arts school in vienna... it would have been funny since his works were out of focus, devoid of creativity, etc.. and your poem, splendidly done!..huggs

Don't get me wrong I am NOT defending Hitler but there is good and bad in everyone. Most of us suppress the bad, some thrive on it. Excellent poem Arthur as are the paintings. Hoping you are well.
