Beauty is said to be skin deep cancer… a silent thief chemotherapy has taken its toll Her hair, once a river of gold now flows onto the hairdresser’s floor Placing a scarlet wig on her head Sue looks in the mirror and smiles ... she’d always dreamed of being a red head Contest Beauty and Diversity Sponsored by Poet Destroyer A 04~24~16

Dear Jan, I don't know how this snuck into first place... LOL... JK... In my thoughts you did a wonderful job, it was a touching entry. I will tell you exactly what line(s), drove me to give you first place. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8- LOL :);) yes, every line was connected. I was moved by the way ended the poem with a very positive view. I too would see the beauty in having to look at my new conquering self... A perfect 7 and win. LOVE LINDA
