Beauty

What if our God had not created beautiful skies, Skies with rainbows and colors of beauty, Then placed those colors in lovely flowers, And scattered twinkling stars for our nights, Made oceans of green and foamy white, Fish of silver and gold, and gorgeous creatures, What if He just got tired, said that is enough, Keeping His beauty for Himself, Making His own Seventh Day to come Before he created that desire in us, To love and seek Him in such beauty.
