Beautiful Muse
Beautiful muse
it is cold tonight
the winds of change
has returned your kiss to my lips.
We lie under
the same sky once again
as the hard grass of winter
pinches into our backs.
Behold outside
our eyes see a waxing moon
showering us in blessed taint of darkness
with milky taunts of all creation.
You have ridden
to me upon the wind this night
uncertain of wrong or right
I lay back and dream of dragons.
A shooting star
my wish has come true
I celebrate the words that are her
my most beautiful muse...
