Beacon of light, holds steady fear
Love’s healing touch sublime
Assuring souls that God is near
Pure of heart hark His chime
As God does empower
Love, wisdom and power
Why for do we cower
Love shining bright
Beacon of light

Beacon of light, says it’s alright
Trials help us to evolve
Star of Bethlehem, shining bright
Diminish not resolve
Helping fallen stand tall
Heeding the divine call
Love reaches out to all
In dark of night
Beacon of light

Beacon of light, a ray of hope
Let’s all stand together
Embrace endearing, helps us cope
Each soul is our brother
One plus one, eleven
Imbibe blessings given
Making earth life heaven
Darkness takes flight

Triple Quietus
Quietus poetry form
First stanza is a quatrain with 8-6-8-6 syllable count in end rhyme abab +
Followed by 6-6-6 syllable count tercet, end rhyme ccc +
Concluded by an equal syllable count rhyming couplet using refrain (any length as of poet’s choice) beginning with the first word (or words) of the first line, as the last line of the poem
The refrain (last line of poem) is also the poem title
