Be Happy In Your Own Skin

Be so busy counting your blessings, You haven't got time to count curses; For it seems the more you notice them, They tend to get bigger and worsen. Be happy for the things you've got, Content within your lot; For though you may not have the best, To some you've got a lot. Don't covet what your neighbor has, Envy his lot in life, For we all have our cross to bear, And everyone has strife. Greed and lust are demons, my friend, Urging you to add more to your pot, And if you listen you'll find in the end, That they've stolen all that you've got. Be happy for the way you look. Be happy from the outside in. Be grateful for all you call your own. Be happy in your own skin.
