Be a Shepherd
What some consider strength,
Is just lack of feeling,
Immeasurable by length,
Numb is how we are dealing.
Fighting every day,
For a gasp of freedom,
With a poem or a play,
Picking the lock of the kingdom.
Defrost the cold,
On a heart of ice,
You will see your sadness sold,
For a small price.
Bring a shining light,
To a mind of darkness,
Nothing will match your might,
Or elude your prowess.
With a burning heart,
And an enlightened mind,
You will begin to chart,
Instructions for others to find.
So those who live in harmony,
Shepherd others with your light,
Break their chains of melancholy,
So they may share your delight.
