Baptized Into My Own Skin
I'm beginning to heal
and it is so freeing
The beating of
My own drums
My lyrics are shining
Dancing to
my own beat
My songs are
being sung
I'm a new star
Sparkling and shining
I don't need no rhyming
The gifts in
my own head
They rock to
the beat of
My own timing
Move over you
Self absorbed
Psychopath
I'm being baptized
into my own skin
