Ban the Dumb and Change the King

Talking Parrot The sharp tongue has many enemies The dumb has none says the parrot That has not learned the art of talking But definitely he knows the tricks of the devil To hide his deficiencies in the wave of the tides; The talkative parrot takes as it an offense And clear his throat and sings heart out Pulling out whatever is in the sack of rhetoric For the sake of freedom expression The dumb flaps his wings and opens his eyes wide And meekly answer with a joke More talking leads one to do more mistakes Listen and you will enrich yourself Remain silent and you risk nothing. The taking bird now thinks another thing If he cannot talk freely and that with ease For the fear of losing then he loses nothing More valuable than the right of expression And the art of talking Then he looks up and mutters something Minutes later comes up with master speech If we can’t speak what we think For the fear of the king and risk losing Then we should ban the dull and dumb And change the king.
