Backstabber

It would’ve been better if you had slapped me Right across the face It would’ve been kinder if you had told me “This is my own case” But instead you went behind my back And drove a knife right through me Both my faith and trust, you now lack Desert! And leave me be Oh! had you told me your thoughts That I may have braced myself But I instead deal with these blows alone These blows that you have dealt.
