Back In My Little Town
You can see it so clearly today, unlike you could before
Mankind making its way unaware of what's in store
The stage is nearly set, but for God's Patient Hand
The One who paid your, debt so few people understand
In the filling out of Revelation, an oblivion to the enemy
For if God is not in the equation they can no longer see
This now so apparent, and some having become immune
A self-inflicted impairment, conscience wickedly out of tune
Need I say anymore but on what the Lord has said
Mankind is wicked to its core and its soul is dead
Yet Jesus took all that blame, your deepest, darkest shame
Life is not a game, but the time to glorify His Name
Soon be the harvest the chaff separated from the wheat
The Lord's not looking for the best just those without deceit
Now is the time to act in the reaching out for His Hand
Especially in things where you lack, He will truly understand
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around
like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour
1 Peter 5:8
