It takes ten minutes to dawn coat and gloves scarves and boots and woolen caps earmuffs and face masks Pry open the frozen door and step outside wait thirty seconds for the dog to pee and run back into the house

I must admit, most times we just open the door and let him out. But there's not much inspiration in that.

oh my...makes my bones hurt thinking about going outside so early in the extreme cold...that's why we don't have a dog...well that the fact that we're allergic to pet dander. Nice free verse. Enjoyed the read, my poet friend.
