Baby Come Home

Nutured you from the time you were a sapling Proud of you as you grew into womenhood. Astounded by you as you displayed compassion Frieghtened as you made the wrong turn. That little girl that fell, I picked up and comfort. That confused teenager, I councelled. Now that you are a women. Someone else councels you. Someone else comforts you. But in you darkest hour, let it be known that: I can still bring in the light,to help illuminate your path. I can still provide clarity when confusion reigns. I can still provide empathy when compassion has left you. I can still provide solace when grief has taken a hold of you. All you need to do is come home my baby.
