Baby Born Today
Numera omnes qui ingrediuntur hic omissa spe...
Abandon all hope all who enter here...
Slowly I enter...agonising pain
Tormented...crying with fear
I move on...innocent
Oh the horrendous horrors with eyes drenched in dark
Demons dancing...necromancing, frolicking through the view
Baths of blood...bleeding tears that flood, my anguish is their brew
For I’ve walked a thousand miles, and all I see is the devils mark
And now I sit still
Momentarily...nervous
Back and forth I pace
I await a new recruit
My baby is born today.
In this poem I'm trying to show a quick transitioning between a child and the father as seen through their experience...as the baby enters a cruel world and the father is waiting... the circle of life
