Baby Angels

Baby angels laced the sky The moment that our Saviour died. Each little angel choked back tears This was the one they'd see save others for years. The babies called for eagles' wings To comfort Jesus and then to sing. Baby angels saw the tomb And planted flowers that would bloom On the Ressurrection Day When they'd gather and all say, "This is the Redeemer we know and love Now let's watch Him ascend to above." But first they had to cry And look at Jesus and watch Him die. They had to see Him carry that cross And sense His love and His mother'sloss. Baby angels stood on clouds in the sky As they watched HIm crucified and die. But they dried their tears and took a breath They knew they'd benefit from Jesus' death. They went and saw the empty tomb And watched all the flowers bloom. They saw Him sit with God And pay for our sins with His blood. Baby angels lace the sky And share the news that He is alive.
