Away We Are Wasting
Away We Are Wasting
Why not know when away we are wasting?
And wife's great cooking should be tasting
Maybe perhaps from Jim a poem or two
Enough for Christmas to get you through.
Many of us have been so apprehensive
Wondering about why and how extensive
Mom's detrimental experience may be
Brought us close together you and me.
Only thing now left is who you and I are
Away mom's death might not be very far
Maybe a trip both you and I should make
Before mom away from us God will take.
Can be together with each other once more.
And talk about things we once did adore
Which again in our lives will never see
And soon from life mom will be set free.
When death finally does arrive at our door
Mom's in heaven on God's distant shore
Glad a moment together had been taken
Realizing by God we will never be forsaken.
