Aware

AWARE Caught up in the pulse Ever aware of core Like…you’re sensing a rose – not image not aroma but symbolically – The revelation blossoming then gone but lingers as dust on the threads of being Aware in each minute The two faces of existence – a bone yard an unreachable blanket of stars And the entity goes sailing air thick as gravity empty as nothing And in this dilemma confusion Oh there is art in forgetting Relief in one’s going astray – How the cow leaves the pasture and is lost Oddly there’s relief in that thought casting aside the computer giving up the ghost Forgetting? Yes But only for the moment – The cow returns to an always renewing pasture The rose hidden among thorns stings a reminder Aware Always aware Dave Austin

It is nice to let the mind wander now and then, but not too far, where it becomes lost to reality... I really enjoyed this soulful write that provokes such deep thoughts. A wonderful poem, Daver!

Hello, Daver, it's been a long time... :) However, here I am Aware of life and its rotation. The way you share the blanket of stars (thought and imagery's) amazing... Always a fan... LINDA
