she smiles warm hands softly touch slowly I melt spying my tiny reflection in loving blue eyes lips whispering “time to go” sighing embracing drawing closer kissing releasing “later my love” she departs as I linger content with remnants of her fragrance and shadow of her smile alone I yearn awaiting her return . . . 2/23/2022 Image design by Mark Toney using elements on Canva.com
