Autumn's First Flight
It starts with the citrine hills
And flows free to the valleys edge
With sweet tendrils of light entwining
Autumn's story of fiery glory unveiled
To watch day by day
Shifting colors entwine
A soft memory of summer
Through moments of light
I climb through gold windows
Through shawdows alive
To burn with orange fire
On Autumn's first flight
