Interesting way to go for the contest. If someone dropped a lighted match or a cigarette still burning around here the whole county might burn for we are so dry. We need rain. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

carolyn, I think the loving arms song was from the 60's. It still has not come to me!! Oh I just looked it up. Guess who? REally, it's GUESS WHO, do you remember them? The line appears in their song "These Eyes."

i love the smell of autumn leaves, brings back so many memories of jumping into fresh raked piles as children, and the aroma of campfires or fireplaces just add to it...lovely haiku, it comes to life nicely :) hugs
