Autumnal Massacre
Strolling through the park seeing all the trees
Witnessing their annual coloured vista decay
What once bloomed to such a beautiful scene
Leaf after leaf falling in spiral ending astray
As the weeks progress skeletal limbs appear
Silhouetted against the chilly dimming dark
No longer their life's rustling whistles heard
Autumnal massacre seasonal leaves stark
