Autumnal Massacre

Strolling through the park seeing all the trees Witnessing their annual coloured vista decay What once bloomed to such a beautiful scene Leaf after leaf falling in spiral ending astray As the weeks progress skeletal limbs appear Silhouetted against the chilly dimming dark No longer their life's rustling whistles heard Autumnal massacre seasonal leaves stark

How beautifully you have penned it. Imagery is great. I love autumn, nay be because I can't enjoy spring because of pollen allergy, that's why I love the colored leaves falling from trees. Stay blessed!

What a way to describe it, I must admit I do not like Autumn, for me it signals death... Loved this...

Thank you 'Silent One' Autumn is my favourite season, purely for the browns' ochre's' yellows etc, and the decaying giving back :)
