Autumn Lingers
Autumn leaves whirl in one last dance
The earth receives old winter's glance
Change is coming with morning frost
Against the gate the branches tossed
A quiet dream of autumn lingers on
One last robin hops across the lawn
Soon Ill be dusting off my winter self
And put this golden season on the shelf....
