What a lovely set of haiku, Connie!! The second one is excellent! Here in Malta we are enjoying a sunny, warm Indian Summer, and the tourists are making the most of it. We call it St. Martin's Summer. Hope you're keeping well. Hugs // paul

Thank you Nette. My favorite actress, Maureen O'Hara died in her sleep today at 95. This poem reminds me of her because she looks like fall with her lovely auburn hair. I SURE will miss her! hugs, Connie

I could use a new body Daver. I won't mind going when I am called home. I love autumn and its ability to renew mulch to begin again in spring. Thank you my friend! Hugs, Connie

Indian summer occurs in autumn, Anisha, so it is inferred. Thank you much, Connie

Great imagery here, Con. I agree with Andrea about the second one especially the last line...it just spells autumn. I've been mulling along almost the same line of thought, I'll post it later. 7. hugs!

Nice to hear from you John. Thank you very much. Haiku is more complicated than it seems, at least it is for me...but I love the form. Cheers, Connie
