The Forsythia is aflame Delight runs once again The red oak draws strength to ignite Love bellows a refrain A red-orange dress over brown Leggins' so tight a shame Dancin' the flamingo about Town, autumn fire untame Falling, falling into a flamin' Fire, love, love's wild desire And it burns, burns autumn's fire, deeper lovers mire Until at last love goes sour Another comes, separates From the ashes a spark ignites Dancin' again on date Sponsor: Brian Strand Contest: 230 contest up to 12 lines Date: October 27, 2016

Jesse, I orginally wrote this for the Autumn Fire contest but it had closed before I could enter it..Then I entered it in another contest but it has one stanza too many so it probably won't place..LOL..I tried ..Sara

Paloma, Thanks for the wonderful review..My grandson had been here and I said something about how the Forsythia looked like a burning bush plant and he wanted to know what is a Forsythia Bush is ??? Sara

Andrea, This one wasn't that hard to write once I got started..I enjoyed it but I should have finished it when I started but I got a block after the first line for some reason then I rested and it just flowed..Thanks for stopping..Sara
