Autumn Ambrosia

Oak and maple trees turn to wines As summer's final sumac twines To autumn's cool amaretto scent Among the season's soft lament. The lattices of amber rose Turn skeletal with fall's repose. The final phase of new moon's chill Brushes autumn upon the hill, While fall's ambrosia soothes our fears Of winter's cool crystal chandeliers.
