Autumnal golden leaves adrift from the branches are carpeting the ground. Admiring the beauty as I walk in the glen, all the trees are naked and I shiver with cold. Pleiades A contest Sponsored by Kim Merryman Checked with How Many Syllables 08~09~16 Only one word is allowed for a title and is followed by a single 7 line stanza, each line having 6 syllables. The first word in each line begins with the same letter as title

I knew I would see this amazing poem at the top Jan. Congratulations! This form is challenging because of its strict syllable count and that it has the same restrictions as an acrostic, only even more difficult having to begin each verse with the same letters. You took this form and soared with it Jan! Very impressive! 7 ; )
