Author's Notes

Heaven Can You Hear Me? This Poem Was Inspired by Acknowledging the Fact that I am One of 7 Billion, That I Have Significance, and that My Voice and Presence Matters. This Poem Also Aimed at Recognizing that Life is Hard Sometimes, and that I Don't Have All the Answers, and That I Need Help, Grace and Understanding While I Face The Many Challenges of Life, Marriage and My Walk as a Fellow Human Being. Dear Opponents of Yeshua or Jesus Christ and Israel! This Poem was Written Because Palestinians, Muslims Nations and Various Other Groups Attempt to Silence the Voice of Israel. They Contemplate or Think that Their Military Might Alone Will Give them The Victory. I Disagree. For My Bible States Otherwise. That The God of Heaven, The Earth and the Universe Will Defend his People Israel, Based on his Covenant, Promise and Commitment With Father Abraham. HE Will Allow Them to be Punished for their Disobedience to his Laws, Precepts and Commands, or for Their Wrong Doings, But Not Completely Annihilated, Exterminated, or Wiped Out. Words I Never Knew I Needed To Say! This Poem was Inspired by My Father Leaving Our Home When I was 17, and the Effects of this Event on My Two Younger Brothers, Sister and Mother. I Never Realized How This Event Had Such an Impact on My Life As Well, Because I Avoided it As Much as Possible. I also Did Not Realize How Much of Our Identity, Understanding of Ourselves as a Black Male, and Sense of Self Worth, Came From this Relationship. This Poem Also Acknowledges That I Never Realized How Much I Needed Him, Till He Was Gone, and I Hope that You Don't Make the Same Mistake. Thus if You Love Someone, Please Tell Them While They Are Still Living, and You Don't Have to Wait Till You Get To Heaven, to Let Them Know How You Feel. God Bless, Paul Anthony Cumberbatch II (July 2022)
