This is for Vera, and Peter whom have always been so good to me, and my hubby Tom.
In the land down under, where the hot sun melts
Into the ocean, there exists a quiet splendor,
Of nature's beauty frozen in a stilled silence.
A world of unspoiled grace, protected by it's people,
And nurtured by its native inhabitance.
There is a stillness in this wondrous country,
As if never touched by the outside world,
A harsh paradise of extremes, but blessed by
The almighty's masterful hands.
In the outback nomads land, the bold and
Adventurous explore the unknown territories,
Of this the land of the lost.
In the wilds wilderness, the bushmen are
Kings without equal, traveling down trails
Of the forgotten, but remembered by the
Souls bearing the mark of freedom.
To be born without realities shackles,
Living as men were made to live,
At one with nature itself, taking only
What is needed to survive, in this
God’s country, called Australia.
Here the breath of the lord,
Can still be felt, as a soft textured breeze,
Rushing across the open tundra,
And echoing through the mountain tops,
High peaks.
A golden land of plenty, as it was intended
To be since the beginning, cherished as a
Precious gem, in the crown of he whom
Rules on the most high.
One day I’d love to hear the birds of heaven
Sing, and watch the kangaroos hopping, in
Their wild meadows and glens.
But for now I admire this beautiful land
From afar, this marvel of a land,
Called Australia.
