Austerity Financial Hardship

>Austerity (Financial hardship) Where has all the money gone? Sounds like the title to a song. If of course it was a hit. Folk would spend money on it. Not in cash, would it flow! But plastic credited numbers flow. Into someone’s bank account you know.. Not mine as that is down quite low! But where has all the cash now gone? Our government provides I am not wrong! Many coins are minted and notes printed too. Have you still got a few? A lot still goes now to the EU. Oh yes it does. I’m not kidding you! Electronically, it does go. But where does all that cash flow. Government and councils are cutting back, on what they spend. Migrants send it abroad, to families or friends. Some spend it on drugs and drink. But surely all that cash they do not sink. So I will ask all day long. Where has all our cash gone? Charities now close their doors. Sick or ill children are now ignored! Yet still the Royal Mint prints and mints. Those notes and coins I know they do! So what happens when it’s produced? I have so little, have you too? In days of old it travelled around. Staying in GBs people’s hands.. But where is that cash now to hand? Less is available, less is around. Surely it has not all gone overseas Our plastic fiver could float with ease! Coins would sink they would you know. And paper notes get soggy and would sink down low. Of course that last verse I don’t believe I wrote it just as a tease. All I really want to know. Is where does all our blinking cash go?
