Atlantic Hearts

Atlantic Hearts By Kevin Robey November 28, 2013 The very way out of this endless day Is something that I may never feel What can I say, fate leads the way Release today, like faith is real My cry for help, when will I call? Conspire away, lay down your bet The enemies inside this wall These allies are my biggest threat I’ll drive away from this broken town Where stop lights break, and lovers fall These memories found where they’ll drown Sea of dreams shining like a porcelain doll With stolen wheels, I’ll leave this all behind These sunburned eyes where soul mates never die Down brand new roads with no regrets to find I’ll smile one more time beneath the bleeding sky Through the great unknown acceptance raining in They’re fading from reality the jaded shades I see Start again, forgive the sin, every time that I begin No place to land on my two feet but feeling like I’m free Can't believe that these nightmares won’t return The sun will rise again to higher reaching heights Next time when the sunset ends I’ll refuse to burn Scarred Atlantic hearts forever shine to end those nights
