At Night

AT NIGHT The night alights Fading the of the day Her cold blanket shadows the sights The tired sun fade away The clouding sky Hurries in the air Only for the moon to lie The night unties her hairs Her dark garment descends on earth The trees waving at her arrival The birds flying below the earth Above the head at her arrival The mosquitoes to their corners Seating on the night for their dinner (By Precious Opurum Nigeria) Copyright © odiboy 2016
