At Heavens Gate
I often stared up in the sky at night
And wondered what awaited me in death
To ponder fore I breathed my final breath
And seek the zenith of the highest peak
To disconnect the life that I once knew
Where is this Heaven’s path that I must seek
I question daily all my days on Earth
The day will come when I am Heaven bound
I start again just as the dust of birth
To stand before Him and to hear His sound
