Asks Yesterday

Ask Yesterday Ask yesterday how was their today? How fleeting did it pass by? Ask yesterday how never ending it seemed, asks him if he knew he would have to take leave? Ask the oak tree to tell its tale of the speed at which he grew; even though a lifetime of mortals by maybe two, the oak tree would say much too few. Look at yourself at how decades flow. Are you still grudging or feeling low? Life for all circles the same it becomes only sooner for mortals, easier to succumb. Stop, admire, hear and touch cause soon in time we’d return to dust.
