As Time Slips By

“recently scenes of early life have stolen into my mind, like breezes blown ..." - Samuel Taylor Coleridge As Time Slips By As time slips by and days grow short a troubled chill hangs in the air, and life clings to its last resort. Now gone are days of summers fair that sated all my fantasies with youthful bliss and time to share. But lately drifting with the breeze and lighting gently in my mind while putting aging thoughts at ease are reveries that now unwind revealing in their beauty shown like treasures once again I find. I can so well relate. When we grow old, as in autumn and winter, a chilly breeze blows into our life. But we can warm ourseves in the sweet and warm memories of youthful days once gone and loves once known. Congratulations John on your POTD
