As the Night Calls
Burning rays peak behind a charcoal cloud,
As the sun sets ‘neath the meadow below.
Fly in great flocks of birds, with voices loud,
Nestling in trees, hidden in a shadow.
The herds gather for a quick drink, before
They settle in groups for a night of rest.
Bats fly from their caves to eat bugs galore.
All are driven to follow natures quest.
As we peek behind the dark clouds of life
There will always be a bright rays of hope.
To vanquish all troubles, all pain, and strife,
And with HIS help, you’ll be able to cope.
Just say a prayer as you lay down in bed
Your soul will find peace for the day ahead.
