As Light As Birds Wings

As light as birds wings Wanting does your hair swing To dance it's ends its ends like raindrops Against my burning face Wild as the northern lights Your skin the sky your lust the night That pulls my eyes so that they may Know the sense of taste As do our lungs the room expands With each intention of my hands That dream across your humid skin And awaken to your pulse Humbling as a brush with death You fill the room with fervent breath That blankets me becalmed beneath A truer truth less false Heavy as the bulging clouds Above a drought below us now Our bodies roll in skies of sheets To quench a carnal thirst 'Til then at last I come to rest Beside your warm and gentle breast And you beside this grateful man Suspended in our mirth

Remarkably romantic and new too. Last stanza although not as word-smith complex as others is stunning in its straightforward exquisiteness
