As I Lie Awake
As I Lie awake
In your bed;
I watch you sleep
Resting your head.
Should I wake you?
I don't know,
Should I stay?
Or should I go?
You look so peaceful,
Lying right there;
I look over you,
Can't help but stare.
Your tender skin
I touch right now,
I'm looking at you,
Not making a sound.
I sit here and think,
I don't want nobody else.
I have got you,
All to myself.
I know this might not make sense,
As it comes out to be,
I hope you know that,
You mean the world to me!!!
I spend all my time jus'
Thinking of you,
Just wondering do you love me?
I hope you do!
We are so happy together
Can't you see?
We were meant for eachother
It was meant to be.
I want to spend forever with you,
Just you and I,
Through Hail or High Water,
Or until we die!
