As Endless As the Sky

With rags to back his weary bones he wondered not the why Such answers bear a pondering as endless as the sky For those deserving of the world are often left behind While those of seeming little need have all they hope to find With judgement not of man’s concern at least not meant to be He knew that life was not about the singular of me I hope to one day find the thoughts that gather my regard And learn the lesson he has lived though battle bruised and scarred

We do not know what is in store for us. The turn of fate is unpredicatable. Many who deserve to live a happy life are dumped down to deep pits while those who don't deserve are lifted so high. This homeless oldman has the right attitude to life . He carries his scars as trophies. Beautifully uplifting poem, dear Mike.

Mike..a friend of mine said…we are all the walking wounded. I get his point.in some way. all of us have been hurt in life to varying degrees. Me, too.I had to get off the ground after every punch,so does all humanity . Scars make us stronger, honestly. I used thar line that I think is true, zTurm your scars into stars, that man will find his way. I have a known a homeless man who lived in a shelter and what he became a millionaire..Awesome. He worked hard! Pangie Beautifully crafted poem!

Also, no one in the USA goes without food examples~food stamps! a monthly stipend free health care. Clothes can be gotten free through Churches. Plus all get a cell phone. Hey, I never got that! Schools have free lunches! In my state, you can steal up to 925 dollars from any store as well. That’s why businesses are leaving CA. And 500,000 fled this state as races are nutz, Too bad work has become a sin? When I was little my Dad scared me, “those who don’t work do not eat.” So, I did not ask for freebies. There are tons of jobs available. Pangie
