As a Poet Sees

I think constant thoughts turning them every which way trying to convey experience as deeply as this moment from where I stand sniffing a wine's bouquet while a eucalyptus smoke wind fills the dusk like life itself and grape leaves spun in sunlight grow like spider's webs spun invisibly by dewdrops and September's flow and still I don't know if words will ever weave a life as beautiful as I know but surely the words blow across experience giving magical glimpses of life as a poet sees it and tries to show it Suzanne Delaney

Great imagery, and it so well expresses the poet's mindset....

Fantastic! You wonderfully described how poets focus on the moments glimpsed between clicks of a camera shutter. The moments become our words. Your feelings are expressed so eloquently with your pen.
