Arms of an Angel
It fell from the sky
Man made fires of destruction
Barrels of assadic poison
No more
Does my family breathe
The Russians took them in but a breeze
I the father look like the reaper
I have no smile, nothing reflects inside
I have lost love
I have lost my pride
I have lost my little ones
My wife, my love, my lovely pure white bride
I, haven’t the heart to look out a window
I, haven’t any hate, emptiness abounds like a million minnows
I, wander the streets, seeking daily food and shelter
There she was, I cried for she was all of three
Somewhere, somehow, from the universe above
A spark was sent down, to my old dead dreary heart
I ran with all my might and I confess I held this little one so tight
In the arms of an Angel
