Are You Satisfied Now

A big time job, A beautiful family home, Vehicles that are yours, Yet your heart is unknown, A loving wife, That gives her all to you, Are you satisfied now It's just you two, Working around the clock, Never seeming to be home, But still loving your wife, From work and not your home, A verification to you, A creation has been made, Doctor gives a thumbs up, Saying she's pregnant, Gives the okay, A long dark night, A couple of stiff drinks in you, Stress and anger built up, What nobody knows doesn't hurt you, Your fist to your wife's head, Knocking her to the floor, Are you satisfied now, Or do you feel you need more? Sleeping to sober up, Unborn baby is okay for now, He wakes up as his tears fall to the ground, She forgives him, Terrified to leave, Praying things get better, Following up through the week, More stress and anger, Not left alone, Another trip to the bar, This time not even close to sober, More hits to her head, Several punches to her gut, Rushed to the emergency room, Beginning to flat line, With the eruption of her kidney's, And the baby being jarred, Are you satisfied now? The loss of your wife and unborn child, The reasoning for your life in prison, For all you had committed, A blink of an eye, All gained now lost, What you have to now live with, You felt your life was distraught, Two lives you loved the most, Gone because you didn't think, Are you satisfied now? From what you have caused, Had everything to gain plus much more, And now you have lost.......
