great Haiku James! Following up on Sara's comment, you can see more of the man in Carolina's work in a documentary called A Man Named Pearl. It's inspiring - as are you! Thanks for congratulating me on making it to the second round in the Soup contest. Happy Holidays. Krista

There are some beautiful Topiaries in this world. Disney World has some shaped like animals and in Canada we went in some public parks that were simply lovely. There is a man in the Carolinas named Pearl that has created some fabulous ones Keep the magical pen flowing. Sara Are you still have trouble with the "Who is Online? part of this site? I am.

Lovely haiku, James. This is truly a unique artform, found not only in the Orient but also at Disney World where the cartoon characters are sculted in trees! You brought back some happy memories of trips there with my father, James. Thanks so much. You are on my mind and in my heart this holiday season as I give thanks for your friendship. Much love, Carolyn
