Arabic

To you Arabic might sound like Can't get your mind around sound That dances on the tip of a tongue Like an exotic dancer, Like can't trust words that rise Up from the back of a throat Like a growl- Might sound like alarm bells Going off like-look!- a foreigner- What if he blows up the plane? To me... it sounds like an old friend Whose name you almost remember, Like my best friend's father Calling her name with an accent I didn't notice for years- Like Amr Diab, since his music Is awesome- Like you can say salaam To any Muslim in the world And he'll greet you as if he is Your brother... What sounds to you like- Satanic chanting?- To me sounds like the words Of a prayer... Sounds like a love poem, Sounds like a lullaby, Sounds like salaam Means peace.

Yes well, if no man is perfect, then so is no Country perfect, however I can think of alot worse, I have been to places where freedom is not taken for granted, something to ponder.

Arabic is a very poetic language, I might suggest look at my poem " Marhaba " I listen to alot of Arabic music which is also very poetic!!!! When we learn of all languages and cultures its very enriching!! We fear what we do not know, so the more we know the less we fear!!!

I know I love Arabic for that reason :) Though I don't completely agree with "The more we know the less we fear.." Since I began to gain more information about the world, some of the things I discovered about the actions of my own country terrify me XD
