With loving drops
from heavens lap
greyness fades
from every view
In its place
color, born to sing
shines in verse
to natures music
Accompanying
sounds of triumph
are heard above
raindrops patter
Reds, yellows, lilacs
smile timidly
into the blueness
of their mothers breast
With Mays arrival
a golden father
looks down with
beaming pride
to see his
children at play,
nestled in new warmth
and to new
resolution
