Apple Pickin' Time
The fall of year has come around
And it is time to gather in
The bounty of the fields and trees.
Ignoring it would be a sin.
Fall is not here for the lazy.
Busy squirrels are going mad.
I too am a little crazy.
I'm wanting not to miss a tad.
Pumpkin bread and spiced apple pie.,
And fruits of every kind and size
Must be on thanksgiving table
To feast our tummies and our eyes.
The fall of year has come around.
And it is time to gather in
The bounty of the fields and trees.
Ignoring it would be a sin.
So now we have no time to waste
And even if I have to climb
I'll find enough to have a taste,
For fall is apple pickin' time
For Apple Pickin' Time contest.
