Anywhere
Myths and dreams both haunt my life
The mirages a thirsty traveller sees
Mirror false dawns that happen to me
Each puddle causes me to reflect
On my car crash of a life, and I only ride a bike!
Nothing but anguish mile upon mile
Life seems to vanquish the prettiest smile
Like a harrowed soul on a bendless road
Might see the narrow goal of times endless stroll
Each puddle causes me to reflect
How trouble forms and draws abstract
Unimpeded thoughts stampede
My limbs are just too short each time I strive for greatness!
It did my head in
All roads led in
To another dead end.
