My bleary eyes delicately opened to the view Of the cold, hard, unapologetic grey wall. I’m in jail? Now the meet and greet. “Hey, is anyone else here a paedophile screwball?” My black eyes opened to view the white, concrete walls, Still cold, still hostile with no care. Still in jail? Maybe a new cell. “So, who else is an informant here?” I proudly declare. My broken body quietly wakes up to breathe The healthy air these insane walls offer. This jail is social, “Anyone here also rape an old pensioner?” I ask a murdering offender. My eyes, my bones, my body lay there and didn’t wake up, Inside this death trap of a room. I held on as long as I could, an innocent man in an innocent body, With a death wish visit, before it met its doom.
